We are looking for an experienced
HR Manager Europe
In this role you will be part of the Global HR team and report into the Head of HR UK/I/Europe. You will collaborate with and support the European Nisbets Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to support the ongoing development, strategic plan and growth of the region.
The role is responsible for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and employee relations to performance management, employee engagement, reward and DEI. You will provide business partnering to the SLT but will support managers and supervisors on people management practices across a regional and hybrid workforce. You will work closely with the UK HR team, collaborating and occasionally leading on global programs and driving global initiatives within the region.
Your responsibilities:
- Business partner with the European SLT, providing local relevant HR advice, and collaborating to develop the strategic plan for Europe.
- Lead the local HR team, to deliver a high standard of HR support across the region, ensuring compliance with local labour laws.
- Collaborate with the SLT to provide sound HR advice on topics such as organisational design, headcount management and act as a business advisor on all people topics.
- Collaborate with the wider global HR team on global projects and initiatives. Delivering global initiatives locally but also leading global activity from time to time; such as annual cycle activity.
- End responsibility of our people data including managing payroll and working with the global team on HR system implementations and improvements; specifically taking a lead role in delivering the HR system roll out for the region.
- Lead the implementation of organisational change projects, as required to deliver business plans and objectives.
- Maintaining and developing HR policy and procedures for the region, to ensure legal compliance with the latest legislation and provide trainings so that managers and supervisors have a good level of understanding and follow said procedures.
- Deliver the performance and pay cycles for the region and contribute to the development of global processes for local compliance and needs.
- Drive employee engagement through effective communication plans, keeping the works council and employees informed, encourage and facilitate employee voice groups and listening strategies aligned with our global approach.
- Lead the talent processes from resource planning, recruitment and employer brand to talent development and talent growth processes such as promotions, succession planning, critical skills identification and more.
Your profile:
- HR qualified or equivalent experience, with experience in an international environment
- Previous experience working at an HR Business Partner / HR Manager level
- Solid generalist experience having developed and delivered on a broad range of disciplines and topics
- Experience of planning and executing organisational change programs
- Demonstrable experience in developing, communicating and executing solutions to problems and organisational challenges
- Experience of influencing and challenging Senior Level Managers & Exec team
- Data driven and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work through ambiguity where needed
- Commercial mindset
- Hands on individual being able to flex between strategy and everyday HR matters and services
